Baby, Come Back

Recently I was talking to a client who has been diligently working and applying the basic tenets of mindfulness and the law of assumption to his everyday life. He has been doing quite well with it- completed the exercises in the 7 day Mindset Reset eBook, refers to his journal, catching negative thoughts and flipping them, doing all the self-care work that fuels his self-concept.

Until he hit a snag….

“I was doing so good and then I got triggered… hard. Help me get it back!”

Good news. Triggers happen. Even better news. He recognized he was triggered and went straight into reviewing his Mindset Reset ebook steps again.

Famous last words, you have a choice. You can ride that erratic energy of the trigger until you burn out and wake up on your living room floor in your underwear, eating the $200 worth of snacks you got from Go Puff.

Or….

You persist and double down on managing your energy and mindset.

I wasn’t all that good at it at first, because, probably like you, I wanted instant gratification. Repetition can bring gratification. It has been a saving grace for myself and many others who apply these tools consistently in their lives.

When you are moving along in life, fully recognizing and wielding your creator power, you will sometimes hit a speed bump… or a wall. Here is the quasi-easy part…

…You have already done it. You know what it feels like to be in alignment with your preferred reality. You have felt that connectedness to your desired outcomes. You are just one little shift from returning to it. Just on the other side of a little fine-tuning.

I talked about this in last week’s post but it is worth repeating….

You must Persist! Here are reminders of how to get back in tune with your preferred frequency and vibes. This can also be found in the 7 Day Mindset Reset ebook.

  • Put yourself on the pedestal. Know and believe all the wonderful things about you that you bring to every relationship and life experience.

  • Energy is real. How are you managing and taking responsibility for your energy? Where your thoughts go, energy flows.

  • Reality is yours to create. You are responsible for your reality. Stop giving away your power and allowing yourself to be victimized.

  • State your affirmations aloud or in your mind with conviction and belief that your ideal outcome is already here.

  • If you can imagine it, it is only a matter of time that you begin to see things shift in your reality. Be patient as your old story and former reality fade out and you will see things shift in vibrational alignment with your desired outcomes.

  • Stay on top of those thoughts. Your ego will want to wrestle you to the ground to get what it wants. Tell your ego to chill out and state your affirmations.

  • Take time out every day to put the Oxygen mask on you first. Self-care is vital for your over well-being. Get the help, care, and support you need to achieve everything you desire in this life in healthy, balanced ways.
